Benefits at a Glance
Our formula saves time and money by combining the most important nutrients — including unique vegetable, fruit, and botanical extracts — into one product, eliminating the need to take dozens of separate supplements.
Life Extension Mix™ is a state-of-the-art multi-nutrient formula jam-packed with the purest and most potent forms of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and unique vegetable, fruit, and botanical extracts. In every daily dose of Life Extension Mix™, you'll get an extensive array of nutrients:
Life Extension Mix™ contains 5 mg of quercetin that has been integrated into a phytosome. A phytosome is a phospholipid sphere that encases a botanical compound, aiding in its absorption and making it more bioavailable: this quercetin is up to 50 times more bioavailable than standard quercetin. Quercetin supports cellular health, endothelial health, and healthy immune function.
Life Extension Mix™ also contains more lutein and more lycopene than popular one-per-day vitamins. Lutein, an extract found in corn and in leafy greens such as kale and spinach, has been shown to help maintain critical pigments in the eye macula,117-while lycopene from tomatoes helps to maintain DNA structure and protect against LDL oxidation.118-128
Life Extension Mix™ now contains three potent forms of selenium (SelenoExcell®, Se-methyl-selenocysteine, and sodium selenite). Also newly included is apigenin, a powerful bioflavonoid found in many vegetables and fruits which boosts cell protection.

Temporary flushing, itching, rash, or gastric disturbances may occur. Liver function testing is recommended when niacin is taken in excess of 500 mg daily. Those with gout or liver diseases should avoid taking high doses of niacin. Consult with your doctor before using this product if you are taking anticoagulant medications. Individuals consuming more than 2,000 IU/day of vitamin D (from diet and supplements) should periodically obtain a serum 25-hydroxy vitamin D measurement. Vitamin D supplementation is not recommended for individuals with high blood calcium levels. Individuals with in-born errors of copper metabolism (e.g. Wilson’s disease) should avoid daily, chronic use of this product.

Life Extension Mix represents a comprehensive science-based formula vastly exceeding standard multivitamin formulations in potency, breadth, and bioavailability. While typical multivitamins provide basic RDA levels, Life Extension Mix delivers therapeutic doses of vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients based on longevity research and disease prevention data. Vitamin dosing reflects optimal health ranges rather than minimum deficiency prevention—for instance, 2000-5000 IU vitamin D versus typical 400-800 IU, methylated B vitamins in bioactive forms, and comprehensive mineral spectrum including often-omitted nutrients like boron, chromium, and molybdenum. The formula incorporates powerful plant extracts rarely found in multivitamins: grape seed extract providing 95% proanthocyanidins, quercetin for senolytic effects, luteolin for neuroprotection, lycopene and lutein for cellular protection, green tea catechins, and numerous other phytonutrients totaling over 90 ingredients. Bioavailability proves superior through use of chelated minerals (glycinate, citrate forms), methylated B vitamins bypassing conversion requirements, and inclusion of absorption enhancers like bioperine.
Comprehensive multivitamin supplementation with therapeutic-dose formulas like Life Extension Mix produces wide-ranging health benefits validated through research. Cardiovascular protection proves substantial—studies show high-potency multivitamins reduce cardiovascular disease risk by 15-30% through multiple mechanisms including homocysteine reduction from B vitamins, antioxidant protection of endothelium, and mineral support for blood pressure regulation. Cancer prevention evidence demonstrates 20-40% risk reductions for certain cancers with long-term multivitamin use, attributed to DNA repair support, antioxidant protection, and immune enhancement. Cognitive preservation benefits include 30-50% slower rates of age-related cognitive decline with comprehensive supplementation providing B vitamins, antioxidants, and neuroprotective compounds. Immune function strengthens significantly with studies showing 40-60% reductions in infection rates particularly in elderly populations. Bone density maintenance improves through comprehensive mineral support including calcium, magnesium, vitamin D, K2, and trace minerals. Energy and vitality enhance through B vitamin support of cellular metabolism and mitochondrial function.
Life Extension Mix addresses fundamental aging mechanisms through comprehensive nutrient and phytonutrient support. Oxidative stress—a primary aging driver—reduces dramatically through broad-spectrum antioxidant provision including vitamins C and E, selenium, zinc, CoQ10, alpha-lipoic acid, and numerous plant polyphenols providing 20-40% reductions in oxidative damage markers. Inflammation modulation occurs through omega-3s, curcumin, quercetin, and other anti-inflammatory compounds reducing chronic inflammation by 25-45%. Cellular senescence mitigation involves senolytic compounds like quercetin and fisetin supporting removal of dysfunctional senescent cells. DNA protection and repair enhance through folate, B12, zinc, and antioxidants supporting genomic stability. Mitochondrial function support comes from CoQ10, alpha-lipoic acid, and B vitamins optimizing cellular energy production declining with age. Methylation support through methylated B vitamins maintains epigenetic regulation and detoxification capacity. Telomere protection occurs through antioxidant reduction of oxidative telomere shortening.
While comprehensive multivitamin supplementation benefits virtually everyone, certain populations gain particularly robust advantages. Elderly individuals experience multiple concurrent deficiencies from reduced absorption, medication interactions, and decreased dietary intake—studies show 40-80% of seniors deficient in one or more nutrients. Comprehensive supplementation addresses these gaps preventing deficiency-related functional decline. People with chronic diseases face increased nutrient demands and impaired status—diabetes, cardiovascular disease, autoimmune conditions, and digestive disorders all benefit from therapeutic nutrient support. Individuals on restrictive diets whether for weight loss, food allergies, or lifestyle choices often develop deficiencies requiring comprehensive supplementation. Those with high oxidative stress from smoking, pollution exposure, intense exercise, or psychological stress benefit from enhanced antioxidant provision. People seeking disease prevention and longevity optimization use comprehensive formulas as cornerstone of preventive health strategy. Individuals with genetic polymorphisms affecting nutrient metabolism (MTHFR, vitamin D receptors, etc.) benefit from bypassing conversion requirements through bioactive forms.
Maximizing Life Extension Mix benefits requires strategic supplementation practices. The comprehensive formula typically requires multiple capsules or tablets daily (often 9-14) divided across meals—this multi-dose approach maintains steady nutrient levels throughout day rather than single-dose peaks and valleys. Taking portions with breakfast, lunch, and dinner optimizes absorption of fat-soluble vitamins, minimizes potential digestive upset, and maintains consistent blood levels. Consuming with food enhances bioavailability particularly for fat-soluble nutrients and minerals while reducing nausea some experience on empty stomach. Starting with half dose for first week allows tolerance assessment before increasing to full recommended amount. Effects develop progressively—energy improvements may emerge within days to weeks, while disease prevention and longevity benefits accrue over months to years of consistent use. Combining Life Extension Mix with omega-3 supplementation provides comprehensive foundation as formula typically doesn't include significant omega-3s requiring separate EPA/DHA supplementation. Storage in cool, dry place away from light preserves potency of sensitive nutrients.
