Fenugreek has been used in Ayurveda and traditional Chinese medicine for centuries. This plant has been shown to be effective against many health problems.

Testofen® is a unique patented Fenugreek extract standardized to 50% Fenuside™ saponin glycosides proven to naturally boost testosterone levels.

Fenugreek is rich in many beneficial phytonutrients such as steroids, alkaloids, saponins, polyphenols, flavonoids, lipids, carbohydrates, amino acids and hydrocarbons.[1]

The phytonutrients in fenugreek have been clinically proven to increase testosterone levels, support healthy sex drive and vitality, support body composition, and increase both muscle mass and muscle strength, which helps increase athletic performance and reduce the symptoms of andropause in men.[2]

Fenugreek, testosterone, andropause and men's sexual health

Scientists conducted a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled clinical trial to evaluate the effectiveness of fenugreek extract. The 12-week study involved 120 men (aged 43-70) with symptoms of andropause.[3]

Study participants received a standardized fenugreek seed extract at a dose of 600 mg/day. After 12 weeks of study, both total testosterone and free testosterone levels increased compared to the placebo group.[3]

A 600 mg dose of Testofen® supplement can improve physiological aspects of libido and may help maintain normal, healthy testosterone levels.[9] Fenugreek seed extract is therefore a safe and effective alternative for reducing the symptoms of possible androgen deficiency, improving sexual function and increasing serum testosterone levels in middle-aged and older men.[2,3]

A meta-analysis of clinical trials conducted (until November 2018) on the effectiveness of fenugreek in increasing testosterone levels in men showed that fenugreek extract has a significant effect on the total testosterone level in serum. Fenugreek glycosides have shown androgenic and anabolic effects in men.[8]
